André 3000 is flexing his acting skills again, this time by starring in High Life, a new sci-fi film helmed by Claire Denis and also starring Robert Pattinson (Twilight).

The movie surrounds a group of prisoners who are offered a chance to reduce their sentence by embarking on a dangerous trip to a black hole to find an energy source, according to VarietyThe film will be Denis' English-speaking debut and will be 3000's first feature film since starring in the Jimi Hendrix biopic, Jimi: All Is by My Side. In 2016, he had an acclaimed run on season 2 of ABC's now canceled critical darling, American Crime.

Beyond his new film endeavor, the veteran rhymer-turned-actor has had a busy 12 months, dropping off fire verses for everyone from Travis Scott and Kid Cudi to Divine Council and also serving as creative director and artist series headliner for Tretorn.

High Life still doesn't have a release date as of yet.
