So, when you think of great leaders in the current age, Theo Epstein probably doesn't come to mind, unless you're a over the top Cubs fan. Well, He has just been crowned the 'World's Greatest Leader' by Fortune and that's ahead of the Pope.

Is Theo Epstein the world’s greatest leader? Fortune sure thinks so, ranking the Cubs GM ahead of Pope Francis (#3) and several global leaders of commerce and government.

Upon learning of the honor, a befuddled Epstein texted the following to ESPN: “Um, I can’t even get my dog to stop peeing in the house. That is ridiculous. The whole thing is patently ridiculous. It’s baseball--a pastime involving a lot of chance...And I’m not even the best leader in our organization; our players are.“ Although Donald Trump doesn’t crack the top 100, a look at the magazine’s past rankings reveals that American presidents must be intentionally excluded, as Barack Obama never made the list either.
