The battle to make the 2017 USHL Clark Cup Finals continued Friday night. Both Waterloo and Dubuque suffered home losses. They look to even things tonight.

SIOUX CITY MUSKETEERS at WATERLOO BLACK HAWKS:
Goalie Matiss Kivlenieks made 29 saves to help Sioux City shutout the Waterloo Black Hawks for a 3-0 win in Waterloo. For a third straight game, the Black Hawks out shot Sioux City (29-28). Robbie Beydoun suffered the loss despite stopping 25 of the 27 shots he faced.

The Musketeers now move out to a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series. Waterloo host Game 4 of the Western Conference Championship series, and its a 'must win' game for the Black Hawks. If needed, Game 5 is set for Tuesday in Sioux City.

CHICAGO STEEL at DUBUQUE FIGHTING SAINTS:
An explosive third period helped the Chicago Steel rally to a 4-3 win over the Dubuque Fighiting Saints. Dubuque entered the third period with a 3-1 lead, but Chicago netted three goals in the final 20 minutes to secure the 4-3 win.

Dubuque also finds themselves in a 'must win' situation. Chicago leads the Eastern Conference Championship series, 2-1. Game 4 is tonight in Dubuque. If needed, Game 5 is slated for Tuesday in Chicago.
