There's nothing quite like going to a concert! Do you remember the first one you ever attended?

Growing up, we didn't have any money for concerts. The ONLY reason I was ever able to go to a show as a kid was because my cousin got concert tickets for her birthday one year. A family member gifted her tickets to go see Britney Spears on her "Oops!... I Did It Again" Tour in 2000, and 9-year-old me was invited to tag along. The show was in Clarkson, Michigan at Pine Knob Music Theatre, and we had lawn seats, so we sat on a blanket wayyyyy in the back. I didn't care, though. I was at a CONCERT. I got a concert T-SHIRT. It was bliss.

After that, I didn't go to another concert until 2008. Some high school choir friends and I went to see Boyz II Men at the very same venue I saw Britney, and my high school boyfriend bought me tickets to see Sara Bareilles (my absolute FAVORITE!) in Detroit for my birthday. I haven't stopped going to concerts since.

The best thing about working in radio has to be the number of concerts that I've had the opportunity to attend. Since I work in country music, many of those shows have been country artists, but I've seen artists from all different genres! Journey, Paramore, John Mayer, Queen, Def Leppard, Elton John, Eminem, the Backstreet Boys, Hootie & the Blowfish, Fall Out Boy, the Black Keys, Barry Manilow, the 1975, Miley Cyrus, the Beach Boys... I could go on and on.

The Most Popular Outdoor Midwest Water Parks to Visit This Summer

To put together our list of the most popular water parks, we took a look at parks with a 4.4-star or higher rating on Google and 500 or more total reviews (additional water parks with 4+ stars are listed at the end). Some of them are MASSIVE water parks with a seemingly endless number of slides and attractions, while others are small (but very nice!) aquatic parks run by city governments. Whatever type of park you're looking for, you have plenty of options!
