A cool new party bus will make its official debut in Cedar Rapids this weekend!

Back in early May, the company T&D Party Wagon made a big announcement on their Facebook page. They revealed that they have a unique new party bus that will available for private events and public tours beginning this weekend! The official website reads:

"Picture this: You and your crew cruising through the streets of Cedar Rapids, the wind in your hair, and the beats pumping through our top-of-the-line sound system. With our open-air design, you'll feel like the city is yours to conquer as you dance under the stars and take in the sights and sounds of downtown."

According to a Facebook post from the company, the Open-Air Party Bus has 8 speakers, a subwoofer, and party lights, as well as a driver and an additional attendant.

The public tours of Downtown Cedar Rapids run Fridays and Saturdays and last for two hours each. The Facebook page says that "there will be a 20 minute stop in the middle of the tour at a bar in the downtown area." The Friday tour times are:

  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

The Saturday tour times are:

  • 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Each tour starts at the end of 2nd Ave Bridge and 1st St SW. Because guests are able to drink alcohol on the tours, nobody under the age of 21 will be allowed on the bus. It's also important to note than any beverages on the bus must have an ABV of 8% or below. You can read the full terms and conditions HERE.

The very first tours on T&D Party Wagon's Public Open-Air Bus will begin this Saturday, May 18th. You can purchase your tickets for $25 per person HERE.
