There are a plethora of fast food options here in Iowa. We have the big ones like McDonald's, Subway, Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Burger King.

But if you're a fast food foodie like I am, you'd love to be able to try a few others without having to travel 500 or more miles to do so.

Using your input on social media, I have compiled a list of the 10 fast food (or convenience stores with food) that we wish we had access to here in the state of Iowa!

Burgers, Chicken, Ice-Cream... OH My!

I will be honest, a couple of the suggestions left online surprised me because I'd never heard of them.

But researching each pick a little, I quickly realized you have good taste in fast food!

On this list, there are burger options, chicken, subs, and tacos. Oh, and ice-cream of course.

Many Chains Are Regional

Many of the restaurants listed on this list are regional. West Coast or East Coast based. At least one is a Southern chain.
