Lucy claims that Donald made his children dump the bodies in a well on their property in Thurman, Iowa.

"Every time I went to the well or into the hills, I didn't think I was coming down. I thought he would kill me because I wouldn't keep my mouth shut."

Law enforcement officials suspect her father's victims to be primarily "sex workers or transients" that were picked up in Omaha. You can read more details about this case and the investigation here.

More details about the long history of this case are coming to light. Fifteen years ago, Lucy Studey went to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and told them what her father was apparently up to, according to a report.

The investigators have been looking into the site for the past few weeks. A new find has authorities on high alert. A third cadaver dog has sniffed out the scent of human remains on the property. Officials say that the dog caught the scent right along the morel mushroom trails.

"I'm not surprised they hit there because my dad said the bodies were the reason the mushrooms grow so big," Lucy Studey said in an interview with another outlet.

In a report from Newsweek, officials might start doing a more intense search of the well next week. We'll continue to keep you updated as the story progresses.
