
Waterloo to Host Free Emergency Preparedness Workshop September 20
Emergency Preparedness is important. Crisis readiness, digital safety, and health emergencies are all important things to prepare for.
Waterloo residents will soon have the chance to strengthen their safety skills at the Emergency Preparedness Workshop 2025, set for Saturday, September 20, at Hawkeye Community College’s Adult Learning Center.
Emergency Preparedness Workshop 2025
Running from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the workshop will cover topics like online safety, personal wellness, and disaster response, giving participants practical tools to handle everyday risks as well as larger emergencies.

Attendees will also receive a free emergency preparedness kit, free lunch, and other resources designed to help them and their families stay ready.

The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited to 150 participants.
