Juvenile Hurt In Waterloo Shooting

Waterloo police are investigation are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said a juvenile male showed up at Waterloo hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. According to a press release, police officers were dispatched to MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center around 4:30 PM when hospital officials reported they had a shooting victim.

There was no immediate indication when or where the shooting may have occurred. However, police say there is no threat to the public.
