Three people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover accident west of Cedar Falls Monday morning.

According to Black Hawk County sheriff's officials, a preliminary investigation at the scene revealed that David Evans lost control of his westbound pickup truck after striking a dog that ran out in front of the vehicle.

According to sheriff’s officials, Evans and his two passengers sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries in the mishap. All three victims were taken to a Waterloo hospital for treatment.

The accident happened just before 5 AM in the 8800 block of W. 12th St.
