The Spiked Seltzer Wars took flight during the summer of 2019, when you couldn't go to a family gathering without someone trying to shove a gross fake drink down your throat. Now, you probably will grab the occasional White Claw when you're at a cookout, because of the refreshing quality of a drink that will still maintain your buzz.

Mountain Dew has decided to join in the Seltzer Wars by partnering with Boston Beer Company, the same company that makes Sam Adams and Twisted Tea. It'll be available wherever spiked seltzer are sold.

The companies, in a joint press-release, said they “understand the importance of delivering new, breakthrough innovations to address the changing tastes of drinkers.”

Hard Mtn Dew will come in three flavors, all at 5% ABV:

  • Original
  • Black Cherry
  • Watermelon

Boston Beer is no stranger to seltzers. They're also the same company that makes Truly.
