This is Severe Weather Awareness week in Iowa.

Governor Terry Branstad has proclaimed March 21st through the 25th as a time to become prepared for storms, floods and tornadoes that may develop during the spring and summer season.

However, because of a forecast mid-week storm, the scheduled tornado drill for Iowa has been postponed from Wednesday to this Thursday.

The National Weather Service will conduct the test watch beginning at 10am Thursday, and test tornado warning at 10:20am.

Local, county and state agencies will be participating.

All times are the same, but it's on Thursday now instead of Wednesday.
