A Strawberry Point motorist is being charged with causing a one-vehicle rollover just east of Arlington.

It happened just before 10pm Sunday, on "C" Avenue in rural Fayette County. A car driven by 25 year old Kaydean Doeppke went out of control, entered a ditch, and rolled onto it's top. No one was injured, but the car, a 2005 Chevy Malibu, was totaled. Doeppke is charged with failure to maintain control.

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a two-vehicle accident in the city of Fayette. It occurred at 11am Thursday (Feb. 18) on Washington Street. 21 year old Morgan Larue of Ionia, was driving her car out of a parking lot, and apparently did not see an approaching pickup driven by 54 year old Timothy Parker of Arlington. The vehicles collided, but no one was injured. Damages totaled approximately $5,000.

The sheriff is also investigating a property damage accident from Thursday morning, in the city of Wadena. A pickup driven by 85 year old John Phillips of Wadena, went off a curve and struck a post and street sign. The vehicle had $2500 in damage.
