A Northeast Iowa tavern's liquor license may be under scrutiny, after authorities were tipped off about minors being served, and drinking, alcoholic beverages.
The Fayette County Sheriff was called to The Bank Bar and Grill in Westgate shortly after 10:30pm Thursday (Nov. 17) to investigate the report of underage people being served alcohol.

When officers arrived, they cited 19 year old Ethan Steinbronn of Westgate for Possession of Alcohol Under the Legal Age.

The bartender, 32 year old Jennifer Cavnar of Westgate, was cited for Employee-Supplying Alcohol to a Person under the Legal Age.

The incident has been referred to the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division, which controls the bar's liquor license.
