Area Woman dies in Clayton County Pickup Accident

A weekend accident in Clayton County has claimed the life of an Arlington woman.

At about 3:30am Sunday (April 10), the Clayton County sheriff got a report of a one-vehicle accident on Highway 52 near Millville.

Authorities determined that a pickup, driven by 21 year old Seanalee Bailey of Arlington, was northbound on 52, when she lost control. The pickup went into the ditch, overturned, and ejected Bailey.   She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation by the Clayton County Sheriff and Iowa State Patrol.

Also assisting at the scene were the Guttenberg Fire Department, Guttenberg Ambulance Service, New Vienna Fire Department, and Aircare.
