Cat Scratches Taylor Swift’s $40 Million Legs

Taylor Swift took to social media this weekend to poke fun at the rumor that her sought-after legs are insured for $40 million.

Us Weekly reports that Swift posted an image to Instagram on Saturday that showed her left leg with a giant scratch.

“GREAT WORK MEREDITH,” Swift captioned the shot, referencing her cat Dr. Meredith Grey. “I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS.”

Swift later posted a second image of her leg with the scratch covered by a bandage that read “meOW.“

In addition to getting attacked by her cat on Saturday, Swift spent the day singing along to Faith Hill’s “This Kiss“ in the backseat of a car in honor of her friend Este Haim’s 29th birthday. That moment was obviously also shared.
