CF Police Catch 3 Suspects, Seize Pot and Gun

Three Waterloo residents are facing drug, weapon, and other charges following an incident in Cedar Falls yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

The incident happened in the 1100 block of East Lone Tree Road. Officers had pulled over a car, but the occupants tried to flee on foot.

One of the suspects, 14 year old Daquon Bolden, allegedly tossed a handgun and two bags of marijuana into nearby weeds. He was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana, carrying weapons and interference with official acts.

The driver, 32 year old Brandon Pendleton, was cited for driving while suspended.

Another passenger, 18 year old Ny'Jawon Alexander, was charged with possession of marijuana.

Cedar Falls police seized the gun and the pot.
