It won't be much of a fiesta at the Fiesta bowl in January when the Iowa State Cyclones battle the Duck from Oregon. The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, happening on Saturday January 2, will be held without any fans due to COVID-19 restrictions according to a report from the Des Moines Register. For the Cyclones, this will be the teams fourth bowl bid since Coach Matt Campbell took over in 2016. And obviously, first without any ISU fans able to go.

The game will be held in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium, and only the immediate family of participating teams will be allowed in as spectators. Iowa State is ranked 12, and they lost their chance to win the Big 12 Championship title Saturday after suffering a close 27-21 loss to the Oklahoma Sooners. The Cyclones are 8-3 going into the Fiesta Bowl.

Kick off is at 3:00 p.m. for the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN. The Oregon Ducks are 4-2 and are coached by Mario Cristobal.
