Denver and Decorah Residents Busted for Meth
Two Northeast Iowa residents, one from Denver and the other from Decorah, have been arrested in Winneshiek County on meth charges.
On Thursday evening (July 30) at about 8:45pm, the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at a home at 201 Hilltop Drive in Decorah, in connection with a lengthy investigation.
As a result of the search, 42 year old Crystal Novak of Decorah, and 48 year old Justin Bonnette of Denver, were taken into custody, both on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.
The case remains under investigation, and more arrests and charges are expected.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff was assisted by the Decorah Police Department and the Winneshiek County Attorney's Office.
