Dude’s Failed McDonald’s Marriage Proposal A “Doofus Move”

Michael Joseph took his girlfriend of two years, Ann, out for a romantic date at a McDonald’s drive-thru the other night. What could possibly go wrong?

After she got her bag with a Crispy Chicken Deluxe Burger in it, Joseph, who was filming the proceedings, asked her to check to see if they held the mayo. Inside the chicken sandwich she found an engagement ring, at which point Joseph asked her to marry him.

She didn’t react well, crying and saying, “You can’t ask me to marry you in a chicken sandwich.“ Joseph said he thought she would think it was a cute surprise, but now admits it was “a doofus move.“

Joseph says the pair will remain a couple, and he still hopes to marry Ann one day. Good luck with that, champ.
