Very Popular Burger Restaurant Opening Cedar Falls Location

If you're a fan of burgers and fries, and you live in or near the Cedar Valley, this is news that's sure to whet your appetite! A very popular burger chain is set to open its first location in Cedar Falls, not too far from UNI.

The restaurant is Five Guys Burger and Fries - a chain with several Iowa locations, but until now, none closer than Cedar Rapids. While the restaurant appears to be in the early stages, the sign is already up, making it official.

The location for the new Five Guys will be 6406 University Ave. University is a major hot spot in Cedar Falls, and the Five Guys is going into the old Firehouse Subs location, in the same building as Brown's Shoe and Buffalo Wild Wings.

While I could not find information on when the location might open, the sign makes it more than official, but the company also has a listing on its website soliciting potential crew members to join the team.

The listing states what the company is looking for in potential employees:

Ability to work at a fast pace. Good communication. Love for burgers and classic rock and roll. Always working for the success of your team.

Five Guys has several hundred locations nationwide, but only seven (prior to this location) in Iowa. They are located in Ames, Ankeny, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Davenport, Dubuque, and West Des Moines.
