A Second Boulder Tap House Restaurant Opens in the Corridor This Week
Today is the day! A new Boulder Tap House location is set to open in Iowa City on Monday, October 19th!

Iowa's newest Boulder Tap House restaurant is located at 1406 S Gilbert St in Iowa City, the former home of Carlos O'Kelly's. After a few days of invite-only "training parties" for the staff, the chain's newest location is set to open today, October 19th at 11 a.m.! The official announcement from Boulder Tap House's Facebook page reads:
"We are BEYOND excited to officially open our doors and become part of the Iowa City community! Our team has been working incredibly hard to get ready, and we cannot wait to welcome you in, serve you some great food and drinks, and make some amazing memories together!"
The Menu
Boulder Tap House is Midwest chain restaurant that's best known for its specialty burgers, house-made cheese curds, and extensive selection of craft beer on tap. Another popular menu item is the restaurant's "Legendary Wings," which can be ordered bone-in or boneless, and are offered with 4 different dry rub and 11 different sauce options. Diners can choose from flavors like Garlic Parmesan, Sweet Chili, Jamaican Jerk, Spicy Garlic, Mango Habanero, and more.
In addition to the items listed above, the menu at Boulder Tap House also features a variety of tacos, rice bowls, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, and milkshakes. It even has gourmet pickle wraps, aka 'Midwest Sushi,' which is a "jumbo dill pickle layered with herb cream cheese and ham, sliced and drizzled with Burger Co. Sauce." A classic!
