Iowa is Home to One of the 10 Best Food Festivals in the U.S.

If you enjoy international cuisine, cooking demonstrations, craft beer, and live music, then this event is perfect for you! USA Today has recognized an Iowa food festival as one of the best in the entire country.

For the second year in a row, Des Moines' World Food & Music Festival came in at number six on USA Today's 10Best Readers Choice list for the best food festivals across the U.S.! The article reads:

"...the World Food & Music Festival highlights international cuisine with a diverse group of food and drink vendors, as well as interactive culinary programming. Live performances, such as Irish dancing and taiko drumming, add to the fun and ambiance, truly making this event a feast for the senses."

The 2024 World Food & Music Festival is set for August 23rd through 25th at Western Gateway Park in Des Moines. This year will mark the 20th year for the event.

In addition to having one of the best food festivals in the U.S., Des Moines was also recognized for having one of the best arts festivals, too! On USA Today's list of the top ten, the Des Moines Arts Festival came in at number five.
