In honor of the new movie 'Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,' which is set to be released this Friday, May 3rd, Casino Reviews decided to find out the most popular Pop-Tart flavor in all 50 states!

It's no real surprise that Frosted Strawberry is the most popular flavor overall, taking the top spot in 13 different states. One of those states is, in fact, Iowa. In second place was Frosted S’mores with the top spot in 10 states, including Illinois. And, the third most popular flavor was Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon with 9 states, including Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Iowa's final neighbor, South Dakota, was the only state to choose Unfrosted Blueberry as their favorite flavor.

Another thing that Casino Reviews discovered from the survey is HOW Americans prefer their Pop-Tarts: toasted, or straight out of the box? The survey says:

"Even though warm and toasty is most preferred (48%), the data still proves that a whole lot of Pop-Tart lovers appreciate them straight out of the box (42%)."

Apparently, 8% of people like to microwave their Pop-Tarts, while 2% like them frozen.

According to the official website, Kellogg's Pop-Tarts debuted in Cleveland, Ohio in 1964 with only four flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry, Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and Apple-Currant. One year later, they went nationwide. In 1967, the company started frosting the Pop-Tarts, and in 1968, sprinkles were added. Since then, there have been almost 100 different flavors!

Jerry Seinfeld's new movie 'Unfrosted' drops this Friday on Netflix. It has a star-studded cast, including Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Hugh Grant, Amy Schumer, James Marsden, Christian Slater, Dan Levy, and Rachael Harris. You can check out the trailer below:
