Linkin Park Deliver Melodic New Song ‘Invisible,’ Book ‘Good Morning America’ Concert Series Date

Linkin Park continue to lean on the more melodic side of things for their upcoming One More Light album. The band just revealed yet another new track from the disc called "Invisible" and it also falls in a more mid-tempo and melodic style.

The lyric video for the track, directed by Jose Lun, can be seen above. In it, the song's lyrics play out against often hazy, muted views of scenic landscapes from mountain ranges to seaside drives.

As for the song itself, it starts with a dark synthy open, giving way to a steady beat through the first verse. Mike Shinoda handles vocals on the song, and as he sings about a communication breakdown, he offers a more optimistic solution as the chorus picks up the pace with the more upbeat message, "If you felt invisible / I won't let you feel that now." This mid-tempo track leaves the listener with a generally positive feel before closing down with solitary piano notes.

"Invisible" can be found on the band's new album, One More Light, which is due on May 19. You can pre-order the disc at this location.

In other Linkin Park news, the band has been announced as one of the performers for the Good Morning America concert series on ABC. The band's performance for GMA will take place on Aug. 4. The only other harder rock band taking part in this concert series will be Green Day, who actually kick off the summer concert series on May 19.

The GMA performance is just part of what's shaping up to be a busy summer for the band. The group recently announced concert dates with Machine Gun Kelly. In addition, they'll share stages with Blink-182, One OK Rock, Wu-Tang Clan and Snoop Dogg in North America during the summer and early fall. Dates can be found here.
