Local Young People Busted for Beer Party

The Fayette County Sheriff reports that numerous area young people face charges after authorities busted a drinking party.

Late Friday night (March 4) the sheriff was notified of an underage party involving alcohol at a residence on 1st Street North in Maynard.

Deputies issued citations for underage alcohol possession to:

18 year old Summer Reyes of Eldorado, 20 year old Kyle Blumberg of Oelwein, 20 year old Matthew Fowlkes of Oelwein, 19 year old Blake Estep-Hummel of Oelwein, 18 year old Paityn Cooper of Marion, 19 year old Wytney Coleman of Independence, 20 year old Harmony Vannevele of Independence, and 18 year old Austin Peters of Maynard.

Peters also had a valid Fayette County warrant for a probation violation, and was taken to the West Union jail, on $2,000 cash or surety bond.

Two teens are being referred to juvenile court services for underage alcohol possession: 17 year old Jacob Miller of Oelwein, and 17 year old Arieana Ajruloski of Independence.
