Authorities in two Northeast Iowa counties are asking for the public's help in identifying the people who may have been involved in weekend burglaries at area businesses.

At about 3:30pm Sunday, July 3rd, an employee of Bodensteiner Implement in Decorah stopped at the business to help a customer with an after-hours call about a part.

The worker discovered several items missing from their inventory, including Stihl power tools and accessories, air compressors, power washers and tractor cameras.

While authorities were investigating that incident, the Bodensteiner Implement store in Waukon also reported similar items that were stolen.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff as well as the Allamakee County Sheriff are asking for the public's help in identifying the people or vehicles involved in the incidents.

Surveilance photos of two men and their vehicles have been posted on social media.
