A suspect involved in a stabbing in Marion, has been arrested in Dubuque.

The Northern Iowa Fugitive Task force has tracked 42 year old Sean Hemphill to a residence in the 700 block of Main Street in Dubuque.

Hemphill is charged with willful injury, for the stabbing last week in Marion on 5th Avenue.

That incident prompted authorities to lock down schools in that Marion neighborhood. The victim of the stabbing, whose name was not available, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Hemphill is also registered on the state sex offender registry, and faces sex offense charges, in addition to the willful injury charge. He is being held in the Linn County Jail in Cedar Rapids.
