NE Iowa Motorcyclist Hurt Bad After Crashing into Deer

An Arlington man has sustained some serious injuries, after his motorcycle collided with a deer.

The accident happened Monday evening, south of Clermont. 34 year old Martin Larson was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Canoe Road, when he crashed into a deer near the intersection of Diamond Road.

According to the Fayette County Sheriff, Larson suffered severe injuries; he was initially taken to the West Union hospital, then Air-Cared to a larger facility. There was no word on his condition.

Damages to his motorcycle were estimated at $4,000.
