Science Says Beards Are Filthy

Guys growing beards is a thing right now. No judging here; if you're happy and not hurting other people then it's all good. Just something to keep in mind with all that facial hair.............

A microbiologist from New Mexico says that when he's closely examined people's beards, the bacteria level in the beard is similiar to that of a toilet.

As in, "these are the kinds of things you would kind in fecal matter", says John Golobic of Quest Diagnostics, "I'm not usually surprised, and I was surprised by this. There would be a degree of uncleanliness that would be somewhat disturbing."

Indeed, but all hope is not lost. Men, just wash your face more often.
