The Adventures of Slater The Pumpkin, Part 2

It was a busy day for both myself AND my pumpkin as we spent Saturday at the World's Largest Garage Sale inside the National Cattle Congress.

Jack O'Slater was quite popular, and lots of kids were more than happy to decorate him.

But...he got into a little bit of trouble later in the day and had to be taught a lesson by Waterloo PD.

At the end of the day, we bumped into Abby, who was selling bracelets to raise money to build a disability-friendly playground for a classmate at Hansen Elementary in Cedar Falls. We couldn't pass up the chance to help out such a good kid.

Thanks to everyone for saying hello during our World's Largest Garage Sale. Jack O'Slater & I had a great time! It's still pumpkin season and Heartland Farms (5111 Osage Rd., Waterloo) has plenty to pick from, open daily from 10:00am-7:00pm.
