Wanted Man Found and Arrested in Minnesota

A Northeast Iowa man, wanted on a theft charge, has been found and arrested in Southeast Minnesota.

34 year old Dustin DeVries was wanted on a Chickasaw County warrant for Theft-1st Degree, and a Probation Violation. Authorities had been looking for DeVries since the middle of August.

DeVries was caught Thursday evening (Oct. 6) in Mower County, Minnesota, which sits on the northern border of Iowa. He is being held on another arrest warrant from Minnesota.

After that warrant is resolved, authorities will start the process of extraditing DeVries back to Iowa to face the other charges.
