The coronavirus pandemic has left a lot of uncertainty for summertime sporting events. That being said, for baseball fans like myself, let's hope the "boys of summer" are back entertaining us on the ball diamonds sometime soon.

Last week, the Northwoods League announced the start of the season would be delayed including the Waterloo Bucks opening day being postponed indefinitely.

Coinciding with that announcement, the Bucks have postponed their job fair that was supposed to be held this Sunday and Monday. General Manager Dan Corbin said, "the fairs will be held 10-14 days prior to opening day". In the meantime, interested applicants can download an application here.

The Bucks have several game-day positions open including: Mascot Performer, Ticket Takers, Ushers, Camera Operators, Concessions, Cooks, Box Seat Servers, Hawkers, Concession Register Operators and Stadium Cleaning Crew. You must be 16 years or older to work for the Bucks.

If you're interested in a career in sports, they also still have some summertime internships open as well, click here for more information.

Keep checking back on this website under the "CV Sports" tab for information about when the season will get started.
