The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate a burglary incident, in which two people have been arrested.

The break-in was reported to authorities on Friday (June 15), at property on Independence Avenue, east of Waterloo. A garage and some trailers were broken-into; the suspects took tools, vehicle parts, a tv, and some miscellaneous items.

The next day, Saturday at about 3:30pm, neighbors called authorities reporting that the suspects returned to the scene of the crime, and were loading up four stolen kayaks onto their flatbed trailer.

Responding officers arrested the suspects, who were identified as 34-year-old Salih Golubovic and 36-year-old Adis Didovic, both from Waterloo. Both are being charged with 2nd Degree Theft, 3rd Degree Burglary, and Ongoing Criminal Conduct.

Most of the stolen property has been recovered from a building in Waterloo that Didovic was using. The investigation continues.
