80-year-old Virginia Luce is a FOUR-time cancer survivor and worked for 25 years as a registered nurse. She just retired just two months ago. She and her husband reside on an 80-acre property in Eastern Texas.

Their backyard leads to the Davy Crockett National Forest which spreads more than 160,000 acres and the Texas government allows only the Luce's and their family members to hunt in the forest, so they see a LOT of wildlife.

According to Dallas News, she and her husband, who is 83-years-old, can't get out to the forest and set up a deer blind like they used to, so they do all of their hunting FROM THEIR HOME. They take out the screens from their windows every fall so they can rest their guns on window will.

Early in November, she was making lunch and noticed a buck on the edge of the forest. She set the gun on the window, found her shot through the scope and pulled the trigger.

Her husband was watching TV in the living room and had no idea that his wife had just bagged an 11-pointer.  She said that it is the biggest she’s ever shot.
