86% Of Men Give Women The Wrong Gift On Valentine’s Day

Almost 9 out of every 10 men need to upgrade their Valentine’s Day game. The "coupon book" for various odd jobs and bedroom hijinks isn't cutting it anymore.

This is according to a new survey by WhatsYourPrice.com.

The online dating service polled 100,000 residents across all 50 states to determine the most popular presents that men give and the most popular presents that women want. Unfortunately, there’s a discrepancy between the two.

Flowers are the most common gift that men like to give women, but women list jewelry as their top choice. In Iowa, men prefer to give a completely different kind of gift than what women want; you'll notice I did not use the word "buy". Here's a hint: The exact kind of gift Iowa women want can be found right here!

In fact, there are only seven states where a majority of men get their leading lady the gift she is hoping for: New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, West Virginia, Mississippi, Minnesota, and Michigan.

Side note: As a man, all I know is "putting up with my crap and not leaving me" is our ideal Valentine's Day present, followed by "showing me how much you love me (if you know what I mean wink wink)" comes in a very very very close second. Anything else is like a bonus.
