A Southwest Wisconsin man is being charged after falling asleep at the wheel of his car, and crashing it in rural Grant County.


The accident happened Friday afternoon (March 22), in Beetown Township. 22-year-old William Seeley of Prairie du Chien, was driving on County Road "U" when he fell asleep.

His car traveled off the road, striking a guardrail before finally coming to a stop in a culvert.

Seeley was taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. He is being charged with Inattentive Driving.
