It'll be like Christmas morning coming early for Waterloo hockey fans this weekend, when they finally get to hear those magical words, "It's hockey time in PartyTown!"

The Black Hawks get this delayed season underway this Friday night as they host the Omaha Lancers at 7:05p.m. in Young Arena, then they'll play the same team Saturday night at 6:05p.m. Individual game tickets for the opening weekend games will go on sale this Wednesday at 2 p.m.

According to a press release: a limited quantity of tickets will be available based on the Young Arena COVID-19 Readiness Plan approved by the Black Hawk County Health Department and City of Waterloo officials. Read more about the plan here. Fans are highly encouraged to review the document before attending. Some of the highlights include: face masks will be required and once fans are in the building, there will be NO re-entry, this includes smokers.

Tickets will mainly be provided in electronic form  during the 2020/21 season, with on-line ordering as the primary process for obtaining single-game seats. Single game tickets for the games on November 25th, Thanksgiving night (Nov. 26th) and future games will go on sale in limited future window timeframes.
