Domestic Abuse Call Turns To Attempted Murder

A Northeast Iowa woman faces attempted murder charges from a domestic assault earlier this week.

Charles City Police were called out Tuesday (Nov. 6) to a home in the 1600 block of Salzer Street in Charles City.

44-year-old Jennifer Bean of Charles City was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Assault, and Interruption of Emergency Communications.

After officers obtained a search warrant, and a subsequent investigation, Bean was also charged with Attempted Murder.

No other details were released, other than Bean is being held in the Floyd County jail on $26,300 bond.
