The Fayette County Sheriff is looking into a rollover accident, in which the driver sustained apparent serious injuries, but could not be found at the scene.

At about 4:30am Thursday (Nov. 12), authorities were notified of a vehicle that had crashed into a ditch, just west of Clermont. An investigating officer determined that the driver had lost control of the vehicle, which rolled into a ditch.
The driver was not at the scene of the incident, but was suspected of having some serious injuries.

An investigation determined the driver to be 30 year old Misty Wurzer of West Union. Wurzer was initially taken by a private vehicle to the West Union hospital, then flown to a LaCrosse, Wisconsin hospital, without the sheriff's knowledge. The incident is still under investigation.

The sheriff reports that an Arlington driver struck a deer just south of the city of Fayette. That accident happened Wednesday, at the intersection of Highway 150 and Klock Road. A vehicle driven by 44 year old Grace Durnan was southbound on 150 when a deer entered the roadway, colliding with the driver's side of the vehicle.
No one was injured, but there was extensive damage to the 2019 Chevy Equinox.
