This weekend there will be an opportunity for people in need of some extra resources to get a helping hand. Local community members in Waterloo are coming together for this event. On Saturday February, 27th from noon to 2PM, members and volunteers will hold a food giveaway in Waterloo.

It will be held at the Jubilee UMC Freedom Center and officials from the Northeast Iowa Food Bank that due to COVID there might be at least a quarter more households facing food insecurity in Iowa, thus making the need for more donations and food even more imperative this year.
