Iowa Man Receives A Sweet Surprise

Earlier this year Dubuque native Alex Hentges opened a package of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and found something unexpected--the cups were solid chocolate with NO peanut butter in the middle.

Hentges shared a photo of his peanut butter-less cup on social media, including Reese's Facebook page. One Redditor commented, quote, "If you sent that photo to them they would bombard you with gifts."

And, well...that's exactly what happened.

The company more than made up for the mistake and sent Hentges an entire care package full of assorted Reese's products. The package also included a note, which read "Here's enough chocolate AND peanut butter to to make everything cool between us."

So, Alex...if this doesn't make things cool...please feel free to send me a few all of those peanut butter cups.
