There are some truths too that everyone in Iowa simply knows, but out-of-towners likely do not. Kids do take tractors to prom, my wife has told me that. More head of hog than human, this we ALL know. Busch Light equals Iowa water, yes yes. But what about the actual myths? The real "Iowa B.S.?" The good stuff that people discuss around a bonfire.

I was inspired to examine some of the myths, unlike the above, that folks, even natives, believe about their own state. My main inspiration came from an article I saw published on one of our sister stations in Texas posted an article about that state (thank you Aaron Savage!)
