Sandwich Chain to Make HUGE Change to Iowa Locations
Change is a-coming to one major sandwich chain!
I don't know about you, but I still order the exact same exact sandwich at Subway that I picked when I first went to the restaurant when I was twelve years old.
Well, if you are a creature of habit and tend to always go for the same meal with the exact same drink, then this might not be the best news for you.
Subway To Change Up Pop Options
Earlier this month, officials from Subway® have announced that they would be embarking on a ten-year deal with PepsiCo, according to a press release.
Subway is also extending its partnership with Frito-Lay® through 2030.
"The partnership with PepsiCo is an exciting milestone in our journey to become America's favorite place to eat, drink and work," said Doug Fry, President of Subway, North America.
There are approximately 268 Subway locations here in the Hawkeye State.
What Drinks Will They Have at Subway Locations?
When you stop in for a footlong from the sandwich shop, you'll be offered several different drink options.
These include:
- Pepsi
- Pepsi Zero Sugar
- Mountain Dew
- Starry
- Tropicana
- Lipton
- Aquafina
- Gatorade
At most locations, Coca Cola products are served.
When Will the Switch Happen?
In a recent national press release, officials from the sandwich chain confirmed that they would be making the switch to PepsiCo products in 2025.
The rollout will take place over the course of several months until it's implemented in every single location in the country.
"It is a win-win for everyone, as it brings a delicious suite of beverage and snack choices to our guests, driving additional consideration of these menu items, while also providing cost-effective, streamlined solutions to our franchisees," said the President of Subway.
