The No. 9 Cyclones improved to 14-0 overall and 2-0 in the Big 12 with a 87-72 win over No. 7 Baylor at a sold out Hilton Coliseum Tuesday night.  Iowa State is riding its first 14-game winning streak in school history.

Iowa State was able to sustain multiple long runs in the second half that slowly put the Bears out of the game. Baylor, who was down two points at the half, was able to take the lead at 42-40 early in the second half. Iowa State’s 15-6 run capped off by a Melvin Ejim lay-in to give the Cyclones a 57-48 lead.

Senior DeAndre Kane finished with a season high 30 points.  Melvin Ejim scored 18 points, and Dustin Hogue lead team in rebounds with 10.

The Cyclones had 10 3-pointers, the sixth time this season ISU had at least 10 triples.
