*Sarcasm Warning*

There is an incredible collage photo circulating throughout Iowa social media and there couldn't be a better photo to represent the hardworking men of Iowa.

If you're not a Harry Potter fan, this might not make much sense at face value but I'll help break it down for you. In the wonderful world of Harry Potter and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, fans learn about 4 essential houses that students are grouped into when they arrive at school.

In this fictional world, students who attend Hogwarts are placed into certain groups that are supposed to help accentuate their skill set. These groups or 'houses' as Harry Potter fans know them, are called Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin.

*Stick with me, this will all make sense*

Students placed in Gryffindor have the characteristics of bravery, courage, and determination. Students placed in Ravenclaw are wise, witty, and intellectual. Hufflepuff students are hardworking, patient, and loyal. Slytherin students are ambitious, clever, and resourceful.

Now that you're caught up with the lore of Harry Potter, I'm curious if you can spot the missing link from this photo from Iowa Chill's social media.

Iowa Men's 4 Houses

When a guy is born in Iowa, he enters the world with at least one of these special sets of skills. There's no doubt in my mind that if you ask any guy born in Iowa or who grew up here, he does at least one of these four things. That's a 100% (made-up) fact. Guys either golf, fish, fix cars, or go hunting. It's really that simple. If guys don't do 1 of these things, can they really call themselves Iowans?

Sometimes you'll find an Iowa unicorn and it's a man who does all of these things on a regular basis.

Something is Missing...

While I've never seen a photo represent men from Iowa better...this is surely missing 1 more photo.

In January of 2023, it was reported that there were nearly 85,000 farm operations in Iowa! How is it possible Iowa Chill could miss such an essential part of our great state and then men and women who help feed the nation, year-round?
