ALDI Stores in Iowa Closing For 24 Hours

The grocery store chain ALDI is set to close its doors...for 24 hours. It's not too much of a surprise that the company does this in order to give their employees some well-deserved time off.

Normally, this grocery store is open seven days a week.

All thirty-nine Iowa locations will be closing on Easter Sunday (March 31st).

There are approximately 2,300 locations all throughout the United States, according to reports.

ALDI closes up its stores on four days throughout the whole year; this includes New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

In addition, the store operates on limited hours on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

What Other Stores Are Closed for Easter Sunday?

Most major retail chains are closing their store locations on March 31st.

Specifically, officials from TJ Maxx, Costco, Sam's Club, and Target have confirmed that their store locations will be closed on Easter Sunday.

However, if you are in a major bind on Easter; maybe the Easter Bunny forget to grab just the right number of Peeps, you can make a stop in Walmart.

Most of the Walmart locations will be operating under normal business hours for the spring holiday.
