An Oelwein teen has been arrested on two active warrants from Illinois.

Oelwein Police were called out shortly after 6:30pm Tuesday (April 10) to an incident in the 500 block of 1st Avenue NE. An investigation determined that 18-year-old Juan Lozano Jr., had two warrants from Rock Island County. He was arrested for Failure to Appear for Obstruction of Justice, and Failure to Appear for Delivery of Meth. Lozano was taken into custody in the 100 block of 5th Street NE.

Oelwein Police were called out Wednesday afternoon to a dispute in the 300 block of 4-and-a-half Street SW. There, they arrested 30-year-old Mecktisha Hagar of Oelwein for Burglary 1st Degree.

And an Oelwein woman has been cited in a traffic stop. Oelwein Police pulled over a car at about 4pm Monday in the 700 block of 1st Street SE. 31-year-old Tina Pitts was cited for Driving While her License is Suspended, No Insurance, and Driving a Non-Registered Vehicle.
