Maddie Poppe To Celebrate the Holiday Season In Cedar Falls
We're less than three months away from Christmas, so it's about time to get ready to deck the halls. Iowa's very own Maddie Poppe is looking to ring in the new year right here in Iowa.
On Monday October 11th, season 16 American Idol winner Maddie Poppe officially announced that she'll be going on a holiday tour at the end of this year. Poppe will be going on a fifteen stop tour all across the country.
'Maddie Poppe's Acoustic Christmas 2021' will kick off on November 21st and wrap up a month and some change later on New Year's Eve.
Poppe will be making several stops in her home state this time around. Her tour is slated to start in Arnolds Park in November where she will eventually be making her way to Dubuque, Cedar Rapids, and Cedar Falls.
Poppe will take to the Paramount Theatre stage in Cedar Rapids on Sunday, December 19th.
Her final stop will be in Cedar Falls on December 31st at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. Poppe will perform an intimate show with the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony performing a variety of seasonal songs.
Maddie Poppe rose to prominence after winning season 16 of American Idol back in 2018. She is a Clarksville native and Hawkeye Community College alumnus. Leading up to the Idol finale, she even made her way back to Northeastern Iowa for a moving homecoming.
