Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys Ties the Knot

The last bachelor of the Backstreet Boys has finally tied the knot. PEOPLE reports that Nick Carter married Lauren Kitt at a ceremony in California. 

The site reveals that the wedding took place at sunset overlooking the ocean at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara. The couple exchanged vows and continued the celebration in a ballroom for food and dancing.

Backstreet Boys bandmate A.J. McLean wrote on Instagram that it was "the wedding that most of u thought would never happen, but I'm so happy it is finally!"

The 34-year-old singer proposed to Kitt in Feb. 2013. with a 7-carat pear-shaped diamond in the Florida Keys. Carter revealed to PEOPLE, "I got down on my knees and did that whole hoopla. She was like, 'Are you serious?' And started crying. Now we call it Engagement Island."
